SECTION 12A – CUSTOMS, TAXES & CHARGEBACKS

Orders shipped from our international suppliers may be subject to local VAT, import duties or customs-clearance fees upon arrival.
These charges are not included in the prices displayed on our website or in checkout totals.
Couriers such as An Post, DHL, DPD, FedEx, UPS may collect these fees directly from the customer at delivery.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. All customs, import or VAT charges are solely your responsibility and do not constitute grounds for refund, dispute or chargeback.

  2. Any chargeback initiated relating to such legitimate import charges shall be deemed fraudulent, and Sofie & Rose Boutique reserves the right to recover all related costs, bank fees and legal expenses.

  3. Failure or refusal to pay import taxes may result in delivery delays, returns or destruction of the parcel, for which no refund will be issued.

Sofie & Rose Boutique shall not be held liable for delays or costs arising from customs procedures, unpaid duties or import-related issues.
